DOG-MAN’S BEST COMPANION
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always dreamt about owning a pet. But being brought up in a cramped apartment, merely able to provide shelter for three people, I was nixed from conceding a tail-wagging companion. At times, I visit my aunt in my hometown who owns three dogs of sundry breeds. These docile beings recognise me no matter when and approach me woofing.
Dogs became man’s best friend as early as 15,000 years ago. Some fossil evidences revealed that domestication as far as 33,000 years. In accordance with the first study of dog genomes, dogs turned self-domesticated as they gradually progressed from wolves further providing acquaintance to humans in the hunt.
Research tells that this synergetic association with these affectionate canidaes aided humans in many aspects. Advantages of dog freehold include relieving stress, improved cardiovascular health, improvised social life, enhanced childhood, better support for dementia, reduced triglyceride levels, diminished feelings of loneliness.
Some certitudes about these amicable mongrels from power sniffing to tilting head include reading humans’ emotions, having a stronger sense of smell , being better lifeguards, being amazingly diverse, having three eyelids, having great long term memories.
